President's Welcome
Welcome to MADS! The Mothers and Darlings Support(MADS) Group was created in 1994 by and for Expat mothers and their families living in Manila. MADS has grown from a handful of mothers and darlings to a membership of 200 families spanning all nationalities and cultures. As we continue to grow and evolve we welcome suggestions and contributions from all members. MADS is here to offer support to you and your family. We hold playgroups for children up to age 6 almost everyday of the week. The playgroups meet in each others homes in various locations in and around Manila. During the year we plan numerous children’s parties as well as parent socials. MADS is not only a place where our children come together to play, it is also a wonderful resource for making friends. MADS thrives with support from our membership and we encourage you to become involved. Throughout the year we look for help with events, help on the committee and contributions for our magazine. Becoming involved not only keeps the spirit of MADS alive, but it is also a great way to meet people and make new friends. We look forward to meeting you soon.
